Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in.....AMERICA.....

Wow, you people amaze me on here. I don't mean just one person in particular I mean everyone! Before you begin to pick sides, please understand the other side of the argument. I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but there are some things people just need to realize man. First off, illegal aliens, yes they should be sent back because they are illegal. But people though, if their country is so much better off with our "outsourcing economy" why is it they still want to come into our country? Another thing is because they are doing the jobs that are paying low wages and yea, they are doing it illegally; but let me ask you something, what about all the americans who are here working as drug dealers, bank robbers, and criminals trying to get their money? Aren't they as illegal as the illegal aliens trying to make a living? Oh an please don't get on me with that immigrations get more welfare: to be honest with you the "caucasian populations" get more welfare and is more dependent on the state. So therefore I've contradicted myself in both ways, which explains what I'm trying to say please think before you judge, and learn before you speak. That's all....... thank you..

Reply:Your scenario is definitely out of whack here - I cannot imagine that the person you are describing does not have a perfectly fine paying job in America. No, anyone who has all of those things is doing just fine. But, that is not the average American, as far as I can see. I certainly don't have all of those things and I do not sit around drinking expensive wines or driving a German built car. I might have a few cheap beers now and then and I drive a 1988 Pontiac Sunbird. No, the average person who is having a hard time competing with the illegals for jobs are not the person you describe in your fanciful scenario. We have a lot of unskilled Americans and teenagers who would be happy to do the jobs the illegals do but they need a living wage to do it and also pay all the taxes and deductions that will come off their pay. Illegals are able to do these jobs at less pay because they don't pay all the taxes and other deductions off that "under the table" pay they make. Or, even if they are using a fake or stolen SSN, they claim so many dependents (also usually fake) that they still don't pay full taxes and deductions. However, if those illegals suddenly became legal and DID have to suddenly pay their fair share of taxes and deductions, they ALSO would suddenly find that they can no longer do the jobs for the "cheap" pay. Then, a new wave of "illegals" would come on in and undercut the "new legals" and the now legal immigrants would find themselves unable to find or sustain work that they can support themselves on, and they would find themselves angry at the new illegals. And so on, and so on....





Give your head a shake, sir! I love the life that you dreamt up here, but it is not feasible for most American citizens or legal immigrants.
